Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains what information MPS Scheduling collects, who can see it, and what choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain.
Who we are
MPS Scheduling is a web app that helps organizations schedule their staff. It is operated by Vincent Rubio, doing business as MPS [PLACEHOLDER: replace with the LLC's legal name and mailing address once formed]. In this policy, “we” means the operator. MPS Scheduling is currently a free pilot (beta).
What we collect
- Account details: your name, your work or school email address, a phone number if one is entered for you, and your login information. Your password is handled by our login provider and stored in a protected form.
- Work information: job titles, your weekly availability, and the events, schedules and shifts you are assigned to, including notes and any warnings recorded when a shift was scheduled.
- Hours: the hours scheduled in MPS Scheduling, and hours you work at other jobs that a manager types in so weekly limits can be checked.
- Activity records: a log of changes made in the app (for example, who published a schedule or changed someone's access), and a record of the schedule emails we send (who, when, and whether it was sent).
- Routine technical logs: our hosting provider keeps basic logs, such as your IP address and browser type, to run and protect the service.
We do not collect payment card information.
How we use it
We use your information to run the service: to sign you in, show schedules and availability, check hour limits, and send emails such as invitations and notices that a schedule was published or changed. We also use it to keep the service secure and to find and fix problems. We do not use it for advertising.
Who can see what
- Employees see their own published shifts and their own availability. They cannot see other people's shifts, or any hours entered for other jobs.
- Managers and admins of an organization can see that organization's people, availability, schedules and hours, including hours at other jobs.
- Organizations cannot see each other. Each organization's information is kept separate.
- The operator may access information when needed to run, secure or fix the service, or when your organization asks for help.
Services we use
We use a few providers to run MPS Scheduling. They handle information only to provide their service to us.
- Supabase for the database and sign-in.
- Vercel for hosting the website and app.
- Resend for sending email.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not show ads. We do not share your information with anyone else except the providers above, or if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use only the essential cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices: access, correction and deletion
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us using the address below. We may need to confirm it is you, and because your organization controls its own information, we may involve your organization's admin. Managers can also correct most details inside the app.
How long we keep information
We keep an organization's information while that organization is active. After that, we delete it or return it to the organization on request, within a reasonable time. Copies held in routine backups may remain for a short while before they expire.
Children
MPS Scheduling is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child under 13 has an account, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Connections to the service are encrypted, access rules keep each organization's information separate, and access is limited to people who need it. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If you notice a security problem, please tell us right away.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. For important changes we will also tell organization admins by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
